잠언 31장 1절~9절

1르무엘왕의 말씀한바 곧 그 어머니가 그를 훈계한 잠언이라
2내 아들아 내가 무엇을 말할꼬 내 태에서 난 아들아 내가 무엇을 말할꼬

서원대로 얻은 아들아 내가 무엇을 말할꼬
3네 힘을 여자들에게 쓰지 말며 왕들을 멸망시키는 일을 행치 말찌어다
4르무엘아 포도주를 마시는 것이 왕에게 마땅치 아니하고

왕에게 마땅치 아니하 며 독주를 찾는 것이 주권자에게 마땅치 않도다
5술을 마시다가 법을 잊어버리고 모든 간곤한 백성에게 공의를 굽게 할까

두려우니라
6독주는 죽게된 자에게, 포도주는 마음에 근심하는 자에게 줄찌어다
7그는 마시고 그 빈궁한 것을 잊어버리겠고 다시 그 고통을 기억지 아니하리라
8너는 벙어리와 고독한 자의 송사를 위하여 입을 열찌니라
9너는 입을 열어 공의로 재판하여 간곤한 자와 궁핍한 자를 신원할찌니라

利慕伊勒王的言语，是他母亲教训他的真言。 我的儿阿，我腹中生的儿阿，我许愿得的儿阿，我当怎样教训你呢。 不要将你的精力给妇女，也不要有败坏君王的行为。 利慕伊勒阿，君王喝酒，君王喝酒不相宜。王子说，浓酒在那里也不相宜。 恐怕喝了就忘记律例，颠倒一切困苦人的是非。 可以把浓酒给将亡的人喝。把清酒给苦心的人喝。 让他们喝了，就忘记他的贫穷，不在记念他的苦楚。 你当为哑吧（或作不能自辨的）开口，为一切孤独的伸冤。 你当开口按公义判断，为困苦和穷乏的辨屈。 .....................................................................................................................................

The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him. What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows? Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings. It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more. Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. 성경에는 참 별 말씀들이 다 있다..어쩜 이렇게 콕 찝어서 통쾌한 말씀을 하실 수 있을까 싶은..

힘있는 자들에게 권력에 취한 자들에게 그분이 하신 말씀은 아주 명쾌하다..

너는 힘 없고 억울한 자들을 위하여 신원하라.
